Lone Oaks Farm takes the classroom outside and incorporates S.T.E.M. education into exploring the lakes, trees, and wildlife of Hardeman County.
Called a place like no other, Lone Oaks Farm is located near Memphis and Jackson, in Hardeman County. It encompasses 1,200 acres with a diverse mixture of pasture, woodlands, trails, and sixteen lakes. The working farm is the site of the University of Tennessee’s newest 4-H Center in West Tennessee.
Lone Oaks Farm will become the national model for connecting youth and adults to the land and using the outdoors to encourage a deep appreciation for the land, conservation, and agriculture.
