Grace Tang was a business intelligence analyst with the UT Foundation for 7 years. She was an invaluable member of the central services team and a source of steady strength and inspiration to those who worked alongside her.

Grace was the longest-tenured member of the Business Intelligence Team. Through years of changes, Grace remained a steadfast and reliable presence. Her quiet determination and dedication not only guided her team but also inspired her colleagues and supervisors. Her commitment to excellence and her positive influence are greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.

Outside of her professional life, Grace was a devoted “super mom” to her son, Victor. She spent countless hours attending his practices and events, always putting her family first. Grace was also passionate about travel and was an active member of the Chinese community.

Her impact on those around her was profound. Grace did everything with humility and a relentless work ethic, never seeking recognition for her many contributions. She was the embodiment of kindness and dedication.

The Grace Tang Memorial UT Gardens Endowment was established to honor her deep love for life’s beauty—the beauty of the natural world and of the people she cared about.

Grace found peace in gardens, parks, and farms with family and friends, and she brought that love to life through her photography. With a camera in hand, she captured not just the scenery, but the heart behind it. She especially cherished taking photos with friends—freezing joyful moments in time and turning them into lasting memories. Her photos were filled with laughter, connection, and love, a reflection of the way she lived her life.
